Born in the early days of television, this group's weekly contribution to the hit CTV program, "The Pig 'N Whistle", greatly attributed to its success and popularity. As one good turn deserves another, the show's success made "The Carlton Showband" a familiar household name throughout North America.

The longevity of the group can be attributed to a proven formula - a stage show as nostalgic as the Pig 'N Whistle, but as modern as today. This, combined with recordings which capture the groups true spirit plus the varied talents of the members, created a career that would span three decades and a legion of fans that would stay loyal forever.

Rocklands Entertainment is proud to have been associated with The Carlton Showband for most of its thirty year run, and in particular was honoured to be chosen as the organizer of the group's final cross Canada tour.
