GRAHAM TOWNSEND
W
hen it comes to the best in Old Time Fiddlers and Canadian Music legends, one of the first names that come to mind is that of the immortal Graham Townsend.

Rocklands Entertainment is extremely proud to have been connected for a number of years with Graham Townsend and his wife Eleanor. Together as husband and wife or together with fiddles in hand they were an inseparable team. Their careers also had significant individual highlights. Eleanor was the first woman to be declared the "Canadian Open Fiddle Champion" at the Shelbourne Old Time Fiddle Contest. Graham played in no less than two command performances for the Queen. Eleanor was one of Canada's most repected fiddle instructors, and Graham was in almost daily demand for studio recording work.

In spite of the untimely deaths of both Graham and Eleanor Townsend in the late 1990's, their music will live on forever in Canadian history. On Graham's special "100 Fiddle Hits" collection, you too can experience the music of the man who was described the world over as "The Man with the Magic Bow". For true fans of good ole time music, it doesn't get any better than this!

Rocklands Entertainment is proud to be able to offer you this fantastic cassette recording.
