For over thirty-six years you welcomed him into your living room every week by way of television. It didn’t matter where you lived… in the mountains of BC, on a remote farm in Northern Saskatchewan, in a high rise apartment in downtown Edmonton or Toronto, or in a fishing village on Canada’s east coast…. every week the scene was the same, with family members of all ages gathered in front of the television set to welcome in a man who had become like a trusted family friend.
He brought music, laughter, familiarity, and some of the biggest guest stars in Country Music.
